Too good to be true? We’ve heard that before about our Club! Here are the details…
Chevy Classics Magazine
You’ll receive an all-new issue of Chevy Classics Magazine each month. This is a full-color publication, focusing strictly on classic Chevrolets. Packed with feature car stories, detailed “how-to” articles, tips, tricks, and regular columns such as Members Pride, announcements, and sales on new and used parts, the magazine also offers full classified listings to help you sell or locate what you’re looking for.
Free Technical Assistance
Whether you own a ’55 shoebox, an SS Chevelle or a C6 Corvette – doesn’t matter – we’re here to help. Whatever kind of Chevrolet you drive, as a Member of the Chevy Classics Club, you’ll have free access to the most experienced technicians in the industry. Need to know a few tricks on installing El Camino Bed Molding? How about selecting the right camshaft for your Rat motor? Let our highly trained team of experts help you with your project. Our Tech phone lines are open from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday (Eastern Time). If it’s easier for you, feel free to submit your tech question via email or fax – 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. We are at your service!
Discounts on Parts & Accessories
At Eckler’s, we’re always researching potential new parts, and are constantly working to bring you the absolute highest quality items for your classic Chevy. In fact, Eckler’s is considered the leader by far in the vintage Chevrolet parts business. You’ll find literally thousands of restoration and high performance parts on our websites and in our printed catalogs. Best of all - as a Member of the Chevy Classics Club, you’ll automatically receive a 10% off your order. This cannot be combined with other sale or discount offers.
Shows and Conventions
The Chevy Classics Club hosts one Convention every other year and an annual Winter National in Florida. Come join the fun! These shows typically start out with a welcome BBQ, then include tech seminars, judging, raffle prizes, a cruise night, and a dance party – everything is planned out for your enjoyment! If you choose not to enter your car in a judged category, no problem – just enter in the “Cruisers” category, relax and have a good time. The whole idea here is Chevy people getting to know each other. So, whether your ride is a 1000 point show car, a daily driver, or “in the early stages of a restoration”, know that the Chevy Classics Club Shows are the place for you. Our motto is “Friends first, cars second”. Always a good time, guaranteed!
1000 Point Show ‘n’ Shine Judging
The Chevy Classics Club’s Show ‘n’ Shine judging system is the standard for top quality Chevrolets – from meticulously restored convertibles to full-blown customs. The 1000 point system, which has been in use since the 1970s, recognizes top quality cars with Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Chevy Classics Club certificates. If you see a 1955-1972 Chevrolet car or truck with a Gold or Platinum CCC certificate, know you are looking at one of the finest classic vehicles in the country!
The Chevy Classics Club can provide you with a “Restoration and Judging Guidelines” manual to assist in preparing for one of our shows, or just to help you achieve that premium quality restoration.
Chevy Classics Club conventions include the 1000 point Shown ‘n’ Shine as well as a Cruiser’s Class judging, which is a more traditional car show format without the strict, formalized judging.
Local Chapter Listings
The Chevy Classics Club has many affiliated local chapters throughout the country, and would like to encourage your participation. The local chapters are where you can meet fellow Chevy enthusiasts in your area. This is a great way to meet new friends, tech advisors, or someone to help lend that extra hand with your restoration. Most local chapters meet once a month and plan monthly cruises together. You’ll receive a local chapter listing in your new Membership kit!
State Rep Listings
The CCC has many State Representatives who can assist you with information and help regarding the classic Chevrolet community. They’ll help steer you to your local chapter, or even assist you in forming one of your own! Your state rep can also help you locate parts and services in your area. If you know of someone who you think would make a great State Rep, or are interested in becoming one yourself, you can submit an application on our State Rep’s page, which is included in your Membership Kit, and online.
Our Members are entitled to run classified ads in Chevy Classics Magazine. What a great way to connect directly with the classic Chevrolet community! Locate those extra hard to find parts, or find them!
If you’re a Chevrolet fan, we encourage you to join the Chevy Classics Club today. The fun, connections, and a fantastic magazine are waiting for you.
Hope to meet you soon!
